Getting it right: Quality Management in Biosafety Laboratories
Part 3 of the 6-part online training series

Schedule:
10.00-11.30 a.m. (UTC+2) Lecture
11.30-11.45 a.m. (UTC+2) Questions/Discussion
Duration: app. 1 h 45 min

Description:
In biosafety laboratories, quality management and risk assessment are key to establishing and maintaining a safe working environment and reliable results and thus call for great care and knowledge. Since every successful quality management system incorporates and addresses the specific external context as well as the internal setting of the laboratory, understanding the quality-relevant aspects of biosafety laboratories is essential.

The third webinar in this training series will focus on the biology and chemistry of modern molecular diagnostic methods. Serological and nucleic acid based detection methods and their use in the light of the current pandemic situation, as well as general biosafety, biosecurity and bio-survaillance are discussed. We offer this part free-of-charge as we consider it especially important at the present time.

The issue also concerns you? Sign up and discuss solutions and aspects with our speaker Dr Denys Bilko.

Other parts of this training series:
Part 1: Basic Regulations according to ISO 15189 and ISO 17025 (Thursday, 25.06.2020)
Part 2: Process Decomposition and Internal Audits (Thursday, 02.07.2020)
